In the remaining 22 years we’ve know each other…

…we must have eaten in so many places around York, some of which probably aren’t even around anymore. Yep, I do believe we did eat in the Willow once …or did we just drink & dance? The memories are hazy so I’d better not add it to the list!

Here is all we can remember. We’d love to revisit any of them again to do a review, as our last visit was in our pre-blogging days, when we actually chatted to each other rather than obsessively take photos and analyse every mouthful 😉

*Jane footnote:
I think my all time favourite food memory of Cand (who’s a vegetarian) is when for her 21st birthday we arrange a surprise meal in the Taj Mahal, King’s Staith, and as a surprise gift/course they brought her out not a cake, but a whole tandoori chicken. It still makes me laugh now, 21 years later 😂! Oh I wish I’d had a digital camera in 1997!
